Assigning Presets

Video Instructions

Presets and claims are covered in the below video from 1.34

Instructions

You must assign presets to users who need restricted access to reporting data. They will only see data related to the specific population segment you have chosen. E.g. A Hospital user who should only see data from one Hospital only.

Once you have made a new user, to apply a preset, navigate to Presets located alongside each survey.

NOTE: You should leave the survey off until you have assigned the presets. Once completed, simply select the relevant surveys toggle, changing it to blue, to provide the user access to the survey.

A new user will not have any presets so you will need to do this manually.

  1. Select the Filter Set the preset will be applied to.

  2. Select the Filter which will be restricted by the preset.

  3. Select the Filter Option which this user will be limited to.

[Below is an example of how the user would be restricted to only seeing data for Ward B.]

4. Confirm the filter set.

If the user requires multiple presets, repeat this process until all necessary presets are applied.

NOTE: The presets have only been applied to the survey you selected at the beginning. You will need to repeat this process on each survey that requires preset(s).

5. Now that you have applied all necessary presets, toggle the surveys you wish to grant this user access to.

Assigning Claims

Claims are relevant to PROM programmes and programmes that use Smart Capture and Clinicians/Individual Patient View. Claims enable a user to access data for individual patient responses within Smart Capture and Clinicians/Individual Patient View.

For more information about Smart Capture, see here.
For more information about Clinicians/Individual Patient View, see here.

  • The 'Clinical Identifier' claim controls what data the user sees in the Clinician view within the reporting section of the portal.

  • The ‘SmartCaptureLocation' claim controls what data the user sees in the patient list within Smart Capture. This claim will only be available if the user’s role has access to Smart Capture.

  • 'Notification Identifier’ claim controls what PROM notifications the user receives.

Apply the relevant claims to the user by selecting the Identifier, the value and then selecting the tick to apply.
