Smart Capture Overview

Updated over a year ago

Smart Capture gives you the ability to capture patient responses in your care setting. This helps to close the gap in missed feedback opportunities, while giving more freedom and options as to how patients choose to respond. Patients can provide feedback by scanning a QR code or using a survey link. Responses will then match to Electronic Health Record (EHR) data as they come through, in real-time.

Survey links and QR codes are set up and housed in the Smart Capture area of your reporting portal. If you have multiple survey rounds, you can also view the completion status for patients in this area too (if set up for your programme). Read on to find out more.

Scenarios where Smart Capture may be used

Before they leave the care setting

Smart Capture allows you to collect data prior to the data exchange process. Patients can provide feedback before leaving the care setting. When we receive the survey recipient list, we'll then match their completed response to the data file. The remaining data transforms into a mailing list.

If they haven't completed a survey round

Have multiple survey rounds? A Smart Capture survey link may be used to ensure a specific round is completed. Using the Patient List, you can check whether the patient has completed an upcoming survey. If they haven't, you can provide them with a QR code/survey link specific to that round for them to complete.
