Dashboard Widgets

Widgets, the core components that make up our new dashboards, are pre-configured charts and analytical tools.

Updated over 8 months ago

In this article, we show you what widgets you can utilise in your patient/client experience dashboard and how each of these work. If you'd like to learn more about how Dashboards work and how to navigate them, check out our article here.

If you are a Dashboard Administrator, with the ability to create and edit the Dashboards, learn how to do so here.

Basic Tile

The basic tile shows the score of a question or group of questions.

This tile indicates whether the score has increased, decreased, or stayed the same compared to the last period. Hover over the bottom left tool-tip to see the exact date range.

Basic Gauge

The basic gauge shows the same information as the basic tile but in a different format.

NPS Gauge

The colour the gauge displays depends on your Net Promoter score, derived from the likelihood to recommend question.

  • Red score between -100 and 0

  • Orange score between 1 and 30

  • Green score between 31 and 100

The coloured arrow and score indicate whether your score has increased, decreased, or stayed the same compared to the last period. In this case, we can see a 23-point increase from this quarter compared to the last quarter. Hover over the bottom left tool-tip to see the exact date range.

Performance Summary

Similar to the performance summary chart, the Performance Summary widget provides a quick snapshot of how a group of questions are performing.

When a selector is applied, the faded bar in the background represents the organisation's average.

Benchmark Tile

The benchmarking tile shows the results for a single or group of questions, for your chosen time period. This data is benchmarked by your chosen aggregate group. Additionally, this supports net promoter score reporting.

You also have the option to add a custom organisation-wide target line. All users will be able to see if their scores are meeting this set target.

Trend Chart

The trend chart is used to show trends in data over time.

You can view data for a single or group of questions. If using a single question, you can choose how to aggregate the data.

Text Widget

The Text Widget is designed to display text within a dashboard. It offers Dashboard Administrators the capability to input both a title, body of text and links. This can be placed anywhere in your dashboard. You can use this to:

  • Create commentary on the Dashboard e.g it's purpose

  • Create commentary on the widgets and data shown

  • Add links of resources that you want your staff to access for more information. For example, this could be best practice articles, insight reports and guides.

Bar Response Distribution

The bar response distribution widget shows you the breakdown of response numbers by a specific grouping, such as by 'age group', for a specific survey question.

Response Distribution

By Column

The column response distribution widget shows you the breakdown of response numbers by a specific grouping, such as by 'age group'. This is a great widget to show what cohorts make up your respondents.

By Pie Graph

The pie graph response distribution widget shows you the breakdown of response numbers by a specific grouping, such as by 'age group'.
